Leah Fowler is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who is passionate about personalised nutrition and the importance of diet in mental health through all stages of life. She prides herself on providing evidence-based practice and promotes a holistic and compassionate approach in her dietetic care.
Leah graduated from Griffith University after completing a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Since then, she has worked in private practices and community health care clinics providing nutritional support to a range of clients including the elderly, adolescents, and those with disabilities.
Over the years Leah has developed a particular interest in the area of mental health and the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating, weight and body image concerns, gastrointestinal conditions, and nutritional deficiencies.
Leah is also a dedicated advocate of the Health at Every Size® (HAES®) movement, promoting improved health behaviours, body image and self-compassion for all population groups regardless of size. When working with clients she supports eating for well-being and encourages flexible eating based on hunger, satiety, nutritional needs and pleasure.
