All psychiatrists at Thoughtful Health can treat both children and adults. Adult psychiatrists can provide assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, gender identity issues, adult ADHD, and developmental disabilities such as Asperger's disorder. We also offer assessments for WorkCover and for medicolegal reports, including independent medical examinations.
Child psychiatrists provide assessment and treatment for young people and their families experiencing a wide range of difficulties including self harm, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, developmental disorders and behavioural problems. Our child psychiatrists can also see adults.
Our Occupational Therapists provide specialist assessment and intervention for infants, children, adolescents and adults with psychosocial, mental health, developmental, academic and functional self-care difficulties. Occupational therapy can be helpful for children with ADHD and sensory processing disorders, or those having difficulty with handwriting and fine motor skills.
